Large and heavy items that only fill part of the width of the container should be centered and braced against the floor and sides.
These items should also be tied down at different securement points. Braces must never be secured directly against the walls of the container, since they are not strong enough to withstand localized pressure.
Side walls should be reinforced by beams before applying braces. |
